Driven by a passion for Korean dramas, this installation is part of a research about painting through the lenses of different media.
Mobile phones are broadcasting a video record of my laptop while streaming an extract from The Encounter, a 2018 South Korean television series. The video depicts a couple in front of a painting by Kim Whanki, while discussing art and, in the end, reciting the poem In the evening by Kim GwanSeop.
